Project Description
Developed a responsive, interactive website for Flowga, a yoga studio, by building on a pre-existing design using Webflow and Relume’s component library. This project was part of my Webflow masterclass, focusing on bringing creative interactions to life with animations and advanced Webflow development techniques.
Project Goals
Objective
Translate a given design into a fully functional, engaging website.
Target User
Potential and current yoga studio attendees looking for a smooth and inviting browsing experience.
Challenges & Solutions
Challenge: Aligning the pre-designed components with Flowga's unique branding while using Relume’s component library as the base.
Solution: I customized each component to ensure brand cohesion and consistency, adjusting layouts, colors, and typography as needed to create a seamless design.
Challenge: Implementing smooth, responsive animations that enhanced the user experience.
Solution: Integrated hover-based animations and loading screens in Webflow, creating an inviting, interactive experience that also increased user engagement.
Process
Component Library Setup: Utilized Relume’s component library as a flexible base, selecting and assembling the elements needed for Flowga’s structure and layout.
Customization: Modified components to fit the Flowga brand, making adjustments to create a cohesive and unique feel aligned with the yoga studio’s welcoming aesthetic.
Animation Integration: Leveraged Webflow’s animation capabilities, adding hover effects, loading screens, and micro-interactions to enhance user engagement without overcomplicating the experience.
Testing & Optimization: Conducted thorough testing to ensure smooth loading and responsive design across various devices.
Results
The final Flowga website delivered a high-quality, interactive user experience that aligned with the yoga studio’s welcoming and calming atmosphere. The smooth animations and responsive design helped make the site an enjoyable, intuitive space for users, reflecting the essence of Flowga's brand. This project allowed me to hone my Webflow development skills, specifically in using component libraries and implementing animations for greater user engagement.
