Challenge

Notable Design Co., previously known as Asurge.digital was receiving referrals through word of mouth but had an outdated website that did not reflect their current skill set or updated branding. The goal was to create a modern and engaging site that could attract new clients actively seeking web design services.

Design Process

1: Discovery Phase

  • Conducted in-depth interviews with the client to understand their goals, desires, and ideal client profile.
  • Created a brand story and user personas based on their insights, which informed the overall design direction.

2: Collaboration

  • Worked closely with the branding and visual designer to align on design inspiration.
  • Developed multiple homepage directions in Figma, allowing the client to visualize different concepts.

3: Implementation

  • Chose a consistent retro vibe that matched the client’s branding.
  • Built the site in Webflow, incorporating animations that adhered to their brand guidelines.

Challenges Faced

The biggest challenge was navigating unclear brand direction and a lack of assets. To overcome this:

  • I asked clarifying questions to refine the brand story.
  • Presented tangible examples of homepage directions, which accelerated the decision-making process

Outcome

The final website exceeded the client’s expectations, featuring a design that reflected a fun, young, and modern energy while maintaining a professional tone in the copy. As a result, Notable Design Co. was able to double their client volume with a persuasive and engaging site that streamlined potential clients toward an intake form.
